Every year the Technical Committee runs an initiative to analyse logistics-related issues in the pharmaceutical, medical, healthcare and diagnostics sectors. These are presented and shared during specialist workshops and explored in greater detail during a two-day conference which is usually held in November.
As an annual or biennial event, the conference is a highlight in the association’s life because it brings production and logistics together on the common ground represented by their mutual need to reduce the “distances”; it encourages them to debate technical subjects and discuss the expectations, innovations and needs manufacturers require of logistics firms and vice versa.
During these two working days, PharmacomItalia invites speakers and experts from manufacturing, services, and national institutions to the stage to tackle the key issues during strictly technical presentations and seminars about end-to-end logistics.
An exhibition area – away from the conference – enables attendees to converse and socialise with sponsors and actors in the supply chain, which naturally come from sectors involving products and logistics services for the pharmaceutical industry. In true PharmacomItalia spirit, this is the only , but right, space given over to business networking.
